    Except for some social events (wedding, job interview) that have a dress code, absolutely nobody is paying attention to what you’re wearing. Which means you can dress how you want to dress. Wear literally anything that makes you happy.

    Agreed! People should be confined to wearing government assigned burlap sacks (it’s burlap from Japan, fashioned after a model from the 30s. Lengthy to hide the calves). Personality is for children.

    Must be regional. Here in Canada 99 percent of people wear shorts in summer. The other one percent of people are either old men or trying to hide chicken legs. OP - it can work, but I’m curious which temperature range facilitates the need for a jacket but not pants.
