Cool. Got it fixed for a great price. Like Monitor said, a cheap way to get the smell down is to keep it in the sun for a few days. The leather seems dry and stiff, could use some Pecards to soften it.
Almost two years and four pages of bumps. There must be a message in there somewhere....Nice jacket though, maybe you'd have better luck on the 'bay - bigger audience.
To get rid of persistent stink ozone is best, but you must buy an ozone generator. Not terribly expensive, but between that and the cost of repair, the jacket may not be worth the time and expense.
This is a reminder to always ask the seller about odors. I am guilty of forgetting to ask when I see a jacket I like and get excited. Always ask; some smells are darn near impossible to get rid of. Leather gets very weak when soaked through, and seams can fail. Bin it.
