When I first saw photos of the Campdraft I can't say it really did much for me. Seeing many of you with your Bluegrass green models has changed my opinion. Very nice hat (on the right head)!
Actually Richman Brothers did manufacture some of their own clothing in their Cleveland, Ohio plant. I bought a few semi-custom suits and jackets from them back in the 80"s. I think you are correct in saying they did not manufacture hats.
From the David Morgan website:
Which Akubras were worn in the Australian television program McLeod's Daughters?
A variety of well weathered and slightly altered Akubras grace pretty much the entire cast over the eight seasons and more than 200 episodes. The Cattleman and Banjo Paterson are...
Try 5'7" and 220# (former competitive bodybuilder). I need a size 48-50 Short - very hard to find. Buying clothing is a real pain.
I also cannot afford the custom route but I see that Gibson & Barnes does offer short sizes up to size 50 chest. I am considering one of their leather jackets.
I have a similar opinion re. the A2 (although perhaps not quite as strong!). I have been eyeing the Gibson & Barnes Skyliner and would love to hear opinions from any owners:

Well I received my replacement hat today from Noggintops. The size 60 fits me better (with one felt "shim") and the Fawn color is correct. Unfortunately they sent me a Lightning Ridge instead of the Banjo Paterson that I ordered and exchanged for size.
Both hats are of the Heritage...
I worked for a Japanese owned company for a short period of time and actually have a Japanese Ex-Patriot working for me now. Gotta make sure I never let him know I play "Medal of Honor" at home!
Been called much worse!
Same here. My dad served in WWII and I remember when I was young he occasionally used the terms "limey", "frog", "kraut", etc. when referring to other nationalities. I assume other members of his generation used the same terms without meaning any offense - just part...
Another "Newbie"
From one newbie to another - WELCOME!
Hey I think this is post #15, I now have the "keys to the inner universe" (with all due rights to Bill Pearl).
Childhood memories
I was also around during both presidencies (I remember being let out of school early when Kennedy was assasinated).
Anyhow, I always seem remember Kennedy without a hat and Johnson always seem to have one on (when outdoors). Everytime I see an Open Road I think of either...
Coatings Industry
Technical Director for a coatings (paint) manufacturing company. Manage R&D, Quality Control, and Regulatory/Environmental Departments. Almost as boring as it sounds.
David Morgan only shows the Casual in a size 7. This is the only size they have been listing on their site for at least the past several weeks. Perhaps the last one and they do not want to re-stock.
