    I’ll def be swinging by the thrift store multiple times this week to check what they put out on the floor- guy told me that they just got a bunch of old leathers in that they’ll be slowly rolling out for sale! So far, I haven’t seen anything priced over 125!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to ID! I told my wife, who plans to also wear the jacket (we are the same size haha) and she was excited to hear that it could potentially be something special! The buttons in the flight jacket you linked are identical. Very cool!

    Just bought this today at a thrift shop on Haight street in San Francisco. $65 dollars. No labels, liner tearing a bit, but could not pass up a jacket that fit me in a color I wanted for that cheap. Anyone have any idea what this jacket may be? I know brand may be impossible, but maybe age?

    I prefer a shorter jacket! I think it looks fine if the pants were just a tad higher, but I see that you didn’t like that fit. Over all I think it fits you nicely

    Looks good. I highly recommend not allowing water to get into the boots and saturating the insole. Happened to my very first pairs (mistakenly thought they would be good for the outdoors / my wildlife work) and the leather dried, warped, and cracked. Rendered them unwearable

    Picked up a pretty much brand new pair of Red Wing 2996 roofer / lineman from a local eBay seller. 400 dollars. I’ve seen brand new in box for 575 - 1200 on eBay (Japan, etc). Got lucky with these
