I recently bought this Aero Leathers Bootlegger in a size 44. Based on the measurements provided by the seller this jacket should fit me. But it is a bit too wide in the chest area. Arm length and back length are spot on, but it just feels too big (or I am too skinny...).
I would like to trade...
Up for sale my 1960's Harley-Davidson Cycle Champ Leather Jacket. I just bought it but it is too wide for me. It is a well used jacket with scuffs and scratches but there's a lot of life left.
Asking $150 plus shipping.
Some measurements:
Pit to pit -> 24"
Arm length -> 24"
Shoulders -> 19.3"...
I like that model too but it is very short indeed. There's a '60's Cycle Champ in my size on eBay right now with a back length of 26" but the seller doesn't want to ship overseas.
I'm looking to buy a 1960's Harley-Davidson Cycle Champ Jacket in a size 42/44. The one with the white and orange label (see picture). I need a pit to pit size of around 22", an arm length of at least 25" and a back length of 26".
Thanks, Richard
Looking to trade to my original Gordon & Ferguson M422a size 40 for an Aero Leather jacket. I prefer a halfbelt style jacket in a size 42 with a back length of around 26". Let me know what you have to trade.

I found an old ad in the "Elburger Courant" from 1962. It turns out that Urzo was a small company making bicycle bags and leather motorcycle jackets. The were (and still are) based in Meppel.
Well I'm 6'5" and I wouldn't buy a jacket that is longer than 27". I had an Eastman A2 in a size 42 XL and I sold that one because I felt it was way too long for an A2. For some reason a back length of 27" works very well on a M422a or G1.
Thanks for all the input! I'm in touch with Byson and they seem the right party to do the work. All I need to find now are the correct Conmar zippers...
