Some of my older Aero jackets have relaxed and aren't stiff self-standers anymore, they drape naturally and they are very comfortable. But I have no idea how long it took to get them that way, as they came to me in that condition. I expect if you dedicate yourself to wearing one jacket...- Guppy

The Half Belt Deluxe is a great jacket. Aero doesn't offer heavier zippers. They insist that the #5 zippers they use are correct, and the only options they offer are Talon, Universal, Waldes, and they are fine with lighter weight leathers but for their heaviest they are too weak, sez me.
