As a Rhode Islander I might be a bit biased, but I quite enjoy the typical RI/south eastern Mass. accent. It's fun pronouncing "r"s where there are none, and leaving them off the ends of words.:p
Cleaning the cat box, hands down. Luckily, the alternative to not cleaning it really stinks, so I'm very good about not slacking. I actually bought one of those ridiculously expensive automated litter boxes once, but the thing broke after 6 months. Now I'm back to cleaning it old-school.
Ditto. When I grow up, I want to be Bruce Campbell.
I met Claire Danes once. She was either very shy, or very rude. I'm still trying to make up my mind.
wicked cute! The attitude in the pic one in from the right is just soooo "cat". Mine used to be tempermental when she was an indoor-outdoor cat, but she's been solely an indoor cat for the last 4 years or so (she's pushing 13 now), and has mellowed out a bit.
For fun, I enjoy most zombie movies, with Dead Alive and Romero's original Dawn of the Dead probably being my favorites.
As far as what movie has scared me the most, Jacob's Ladder. I'm not sure if technically it even counts as a horror movie, but close enough. I think they keep it in the...
I'd take my comment with a grain of salt, as the one pic on here of me wearing a suit looks an awful lot like I'm wearing pajamas (I'm no connoisseur) , but I find that the pattern on your shirt is very distracting to the eye. The eye (well, my eye anyways) is first drawn to notice the bold...
lol
Regardless, I'd say you hit the nail on the head with the look in that first image.
Assuming the look best summed up by the AC man coexisted in some proportion with the pipe cleaner look, as the variations in advertising and examples you've given suggest, it makes me wonder just why...
At the museum where I work, I am in charge of managing the archives, among other things. The museum specializes in American Illustration from the 1870's through to the 1960's, and the paintings used as ads for men's and women's clothing account for a good number of pieces in the collection...
These "Frostbites" have me intrigued. As a former resident of Fall River, MA, I got to like steak and eggs, Azorean style, a whole lot. A cheeseburger with fried eggs, fried onion, and bacon. Sounds to me like a delicious heart attack on a bun that might just be worth it.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest yet (or maybe they have and I missed it). I saw the movie years before I read Kesey's book, and figured there was no way on earth I could like the novel more than the movie, just because I liked the movie so much. Well...
It might just be because I've just finished a project as a research assistant and graphics guy for a book on the man, but I don't think any conversation about Fashion Illustrators from the Golden Era would be complete without a mention of J.C. Leyendecker, who was well known for his House of...
I had to go in to work to do some list minute stuff on a book on the artist J.C. Leyendecker that I've been working on. I got out and took what was supposed to be a short nap that somehow turned into a 3 hour one, and ended up missing the Slim Cessna's Auto Club show I was planning on...
