Based on the reputation of their product, its quite plausible that I ended up with a lemon. To err is human, so the fact that my jacket was poorly made in itself isn't what bothered me as much as the total failure and lack of effort to rectify the situation by thier customer service. Glad to...
Last Fall I bought a Legendary USA Trojan Horse jacket last, which unless I am mistaken, is manufactured at the Schott factory. While my initial impression of the jacket was quite favorable, after about a week, stitches began to come undone and I noticed other errors such as the row of stitching...
The url for mine is www.myspace.com/casa_del_eric. I must admit, there's a few pics on there with me sporting decidedly unvintage threads (even a backwards ballcap in a couple!! )
I'd welcome any invites from fellow Fedora Loungers. Just send me an email first. :)

Back when I was thinking of getting into the tattoo biz, that was the name I had picked out if I ever got my own shop. As far as I know, it's not taken, but admittedly, I could easily be wrong.
While I tip and will always tip well unless the service was grossly negligent, whenever I hear this topic discussed, all I can think of is Mr Pink (steve Buscemi's character) at the beginning of Reservoir Dogs. All the crooks are sitting around in a diner. It comes time to leave, and everyone...
I'm an administrator at an art museum with a very small number of people working for it. As a result, we all have to wear a lot of "hats". I'm responsible for tours, security, PR, correspondence, book keeping, research, graphic design work, computer trouble shooting, managing the museum gift...
I was going through the Meyday Tiffany website to order some Maxfield Parrish themed lamps for the museum I work at's gift shop when I came across their Metro line of lamps.

The majority of the selections in the Metro line have a definite Deco theme to...
I can be terribly absent minded with things like this, so I just stuck with my AIM screen name. Given so many of the clever and interesting screen names folks on here have come up with, sometime I regret my decision to make things easy for myself to remember.

I'm going to be seeing them for the 3rd time when they come to Providence RI this St. Patty's day.
Store 2160, W.Main Rd, Middletown RI. I just visited today, February 18th. I actually went nuts looking for it in the men's interest section, and couldn't find it there. I didn't see anything recognizable as a "power column" near the magazine section either.
So...I gave up and got a coffee...
Yup! The picture doesn't do it justice either. In person, its got this neat, otherwordly yet tasteful blue-ish green glow to the highlights.
The museum has a lot of Leyendecker works on display, but the one in the picture is my favorite.
When I was living in Fall River Massachusetts, my building was set back from the street with a driveway in front of it. We shared the driveway with the adjacent building that was right next to the street. So, the driveway was in front of my building and on the side of theirs.
Well, one day...
I thought the filmmakers did an excellent job of creating "atmosphere", however, I deduced the twist rather early on and spent the rest of the movie hoping that I'd be wrong. Figuring it out that early definately took a lot of the enjoyment out of the film for me.
Kudos for sure though to...
These are the views of what you can see from my 2nd floor living room bay window, taken from the ground in front of the building. I live in the carriage house on the estate of the museum/mansion I work at, so the view is pretty nice.
