How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I couldn't say as never handled vicenza. Very impressed with this leather though and yes, much lighter weight than CXL.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Only phone pics I'm afraid. Although I suppose the clue is in the 'Battered" part of the name it looks quite old and worn in straight out of the box.

    Aero jackets worth it?

To state the obvious that can be gleaned from my post.....Yes, they're worth it.

    Aero jackets worth it?

Not an Aero fanboi as such but now have a 4th on the way. Fortunate enough to live in the UK so paid a visit rather than order on-line or over the phone. A visit was great as I could discuss exactly what I was looking for and to find out if it could be done. Mails are ok but face to face is...

    Heavy Cordovan CXSH

Just a heads up should anyone be making their mind up as to whether or not buy a jacket in this stuff. Just ordered a jacket from Aero in this and have been told they have a batch in that's 'pretty thick'. Sounds perfect to me!

A barf worthy rip off of an appropriated pattern

There are many things in life I don't like....it doesn't mean they're crap though. One mans treasure and all that. When it comes to clothing (not necessarily just leather jackets) we all have our own ideas as to what looks good, either on ourselves or others. My personal clothing style is 40's...

Help with Aero Leather Jacket zippers !!

Or even just give the teeth of the zip a good rub with a pencil. The graphite will lubricate the teeth. What I've found with my Aero jackets is that the side of the zipper block can drag on the welt covering the zip, the more use the jacket gets the more the welt eases off a little.

On my way down the slippery Aero slope!

Quote from an e-mail.... Anything Horween is around a 6 month wait or longer at the moment unfortunately, CXFQHH has been coming in a little quicker than the Steerhide but we’ve don’t have any idea of timeline for CXSH at the moment unfortunately.

On my way down the slippery Aero slope!

When I was looking at leather samples for my Windward they sent me a tumbled sample. Each to their own etc but it wasn't for me.

On my way down the slippery Aero slope!

There is an approximate wait of 6 months+ for Horween deliveries (as mentioned in the OP) so I'll check the weights with them and if they roughly the same I'll take either. I'll just cough a deposit up and hopefully I'll have one for next Winter I could be Mr Impatient and go for a more easily...

Thank you for that, appreciated. As said, I wasn't sure there would be but was worth asking.

On my way down the slippery Aero slope!

Is there an end to this slope? Started at the top of the slope with the Sheene and the Windward, thought 2 jackets of different styles would be ideal......and then came the idea of a MC jacket so ended up with a mongrel of sorts, a J-106 front with a KOTR back. Ooops. So ended up with 2 in...
