Having dipped my toe into the world of custom USN jackets relatively recently with a G-1 / M-422A type, I felt the need for a new project & wanted to put it in a safe pair of hands. Enter Steve S ...Gentleman, artist & all round great Guy!
My wardrobe is almost exclusively made up of Brown...
Evening Gents,
I'm considering an Aero CR at some point in the future, wondered if any FL members have one in size 46 & if so would be kind enough to give me chest & shoulder measurements :-)
Just received a silk Neckerchief that I ordered from SJC with a Nautical theme, lovely bit of kit & a new look for me. Goes rather well with the Polo shirt (also SJC).
Funds needed for new projects thus this jacket is reluctantly up for sale following recent completion of my Wested G-1 / M422A jacket.
I've just put in on eBay UK (BIN) for what I paid for it (see link). Will withdraw it from eBay, discount (£120.00 + shipping costs) & ship outside of UK if...
Evening Gents,
The postman has been & gone & I've now taken ownership of my winter project.
It started last September when I finally admitted that neither my original 70's Star Sportwear G-1 (size 48) or my ELC M-422A (46) fitted properly.
The G-1 was perfect in every respect apart from the...
Just back following a light restoration & dry clean, my original 1972 WEP in 48R. Snoopy patch I was told is an original Vietnam item. These jackets are very SHORT :-)
The latest of my acquisitions, a lovely condition Brooks Cafe Racer. This is the 3rd one I've owned in the last 15 years. Sleeves need shortening slightly but that's about all I'll need to get done..zips up fine with a little room for very light layering (only one that has) :)

Evening Gentlemen,
Having not had much luck finding an original G-1 in a 48 that fits me in the shoulders I'm going to have my Star Sportwear '72 used as the basis / pattern (nothing being pulled apart) for a repro (at least 21" shoulders).
I've gathered mouton for the collar, lining, buttons...
Just getting to grips with my Cape-skin ELC A-1 in size 48, love the classic design, tailored fit & caramel color of this jacket. It's nice to have a light weight wearer of a flight jacket in an early style that isn't automatically recognized by the lay person as a military design.
Two weeks...
Hello Gentlemen,
I'm slowly finding my way around service issue jackets of the period but watches are totally new ground. Any thoughts on the watch listed here & the price (fair?)

Pictures of my latest acquisition: a WEP Flight Jacket '72 Kings Point MFG Co in 48 Regular...as comfortable as an old pajama top & very light and warm. These are very short fitting jackets indeed! This one just needs a bit of darning on the cuffs & maybe the removal of the patch that looks to...
Have just acquired this N-2A Jacket with funds from my recent nylon spring clean out (eBay). A very honest N-2A this one, shell is an even Blue (mild UV fade under hood ruff), hood and fur are in great condition & all the zippers in good order. Knits have sustained moth attack and will need some...
I need funds for an A-1 so this has to go:

Will consider posting outside of UK for Forum members, jacket can be taken off of eBay. PM me if interested :-)
Happy Easter Folks,
I'm now into a few days off of the daily grind, and consequently have more time to loaf about the lounge. Inspired by a recent thread relating to one great jacket vs many, I spring cleaned my jacket collection (via eBay) and have sold lots of repro & a few service issue...
Hello Gentlemen,
Have just scored this G1, looks like a service issue to me (USNR). Has anyone any thoughts as to maker and series? E?

Thanks
WTB G1 Flight Jacket Size 48. Must be service issue item and in good condition. I need shoulder measurements seam to seam (back of jacket) of 21” or more (20” is too tight on me). Not interested in any reproductions :-)
Thanks
Has any one had any experience with a service G1 from this maker? If so, what what did you think? Considering one as a 'beater'. I know that they are not the most collectible :-D Year of manufacture 1998.
