If you are unhappy with the jacket now, you may never be happy with it, and I’m sure no one could convince you otherwise. That is certainly up to you, but I don’t believe that the seller has tried to pull anything over on you based on the pics you’ve shown. In the end, you are the one spending...
Are you certain that it’s a used jacket? Do you have any pics of the entire sleeve(s)? I would venture to guess that a used jacket would have plenty of creasing, stacking, tunneling, or however you prefer to describe it in the sleeves. Lighter color hides tend to show all of the natural...
I just saw this in a Schott email.. I dig it. Nice hardware and 2 way zip is a nice touch, the only thing that bugs me would be the open sleeve gussets.
The Flat Head today. This arrived yesterday from another member with whom it was great to do business.. this is a grail jacket for me, have wanted one forever. Not my first Shinki, but my first Japanese made jacket. The hide is great, I’m happy with the fit, and pretty sure that I’m 76%...
Slippery slope, Ton! I bought a machine to make moto seat covers.. now I have 3 machines for jackets and have yet to make a seat cover with any of them! I bet that angel skin is lovely to sew. Looks good!
Thanks! I agree, the back is gonna need some break in time for sure to settle down. That pic was with about an hour of wear. I’m a big fan of racers with no hand warmers as well, but my Aero covers that base, so I added them here.

Wearing my nemesis today… finally finished this cafe/J-100 mash up in 3.5-4oz CXL steer hide. I’ve always been interested in this hide, I’ve only had experience handling CXLFQHH. Color is burgundy and is really beautiful. Im very glad that I built a little extra room into this one as it is an...
Thanks, my stitching is coming along, but I’m still struggling with the bottom hem and sleeve cuff topstitching. Lots of bumps and folds to get over smoothly while holding a straight line/avoiding skipped stitches.. it’s getting better, but still needs work. Hopefully, I’ll get there someday!
Leather jacket #2. Basic cafe racer that I just finished on Friday. This hide is a black 3oz veg tan with a light brown core that my local leather supplier had on closeout. I bought the only 3 sides they had to give it a try. Felt like wearing a cardboard box right out of the gate, but I hit...
