Spam that thing! I bet that 7lbs feels like 2 with all the lift that collar is generating in the Windy City. Ton’s jackets don’t have collars, they have aerofoils.. and it’s glorious.
That’s a good question. One that I don’t feel qualified to properly answer, but I will say that yours is hitting about the same as the two properly fitting cross zips that I have. Looks good from where I sit..
Aero CR today in natty CXL. My lovely wife found this one second hand and surprised me with it on my birthday this past spring. It was very long, so I knocked 1 1/2” off the back and tapered to a little front drop. This is the one jacket I own that allows me to layer anything I want under it...

I had my hands on one of these a year or so ago, man what a beast of a jacket! If sizing was right, I would have definitely kept it. I love how Branded threw in the fun pocket bags on their jackets.
For my first couple years of jacket obsession, the cafe/stand collar was the only style I cared about. I still love them. My Aero Board Racer is still my favorite jacket of all time, although the Flat Head I picked up from @Bfd70 is giving it a run for its money.
The CXL Steerhide used for...
