I am if I don't forget to pack them. I thought you might like to try one of these Don Lucas's, so I might bring several. ;) I bought two blends, one mild and one full bodied. I like the full bodied one best, but they are all well made and burn really nice.- BobC

While we were in the Dominican Republic last week, I was able to visit a small cigar factory in Bavaro. The brand they made and sold there was Don Lucas. Has anyone heard of them? I believe that I am correct in saying the dimensions of both hats are the same. The difference is in the felt and the sweatband. The Fed Dlx IV supposedly has a better sweat band. I have both imperial quality Akubras and heritage quality Akubras, and I like them all. -

Here are a few more pictures. We were finally able to go to a place that Mrs. C and I could both enjoy. There was a small cigar manufacturing and sales room and a jewelry store both in the same location. And they had free beer! Now that's the kind of place we need in this country... -

We just got back from the Domican Republic and my Sunbody could not have been a better choice for the hot weather there. The hat was plenty rugged to make the trip and survive all the sweating, heat and water there. Thanks for the heads up, Rusty. The hat worked great! Here's... -

That is a very sharp hat, Kao and Art. These lighter colored lids are really catching my eye lately. That one is a knock out. -

No pictures today. The camera is packed, but it's been a Campdraft weekend. Tawny fawn on Saturday and silverbelly on Sunday.
