I actually think the side-swept bangs look more flattering on your facial shape. I say give them a couple weeks to grow out. Bangs always seem to grow fast!

Subtle matching, say for a cocktail party, is fine. Having a fella match his tie or pocket square to your dress color, for example, is a nice touch. Matching your entire outfits? WAY over the line.
I would suggest manicuring/pedicuring them yourself and then just having them painted at the salon. Most salons don't charge much at all for a simple polish, often less than $10.
