Wow, that's wicked expensive! I got one last year for about $8. They come up on Ebay pretty frequently, often for less than that. Also, they're really hard to use - there's some discussion about these in the PR.- KittyT

Curlers and Bandanas...
For this reason, I prefer chiffon scarves. They let the air end and if they pick up moisture, they dry quickly. Not that, I ever really do wet sets, though, because no matter what I use (or don't use) to cover my hair, it will never dry. -

One of the biggest problems, though, is that all techs both good and bad file your nails before applying artificial ones. This makes your nails thinner and weaker. The worst are the techs who use those little electric buffers/filers. They're very damaging and almost everyone uses them because... -

My nails are one of the most important parts of my appearance to me, in part because they're the part of my appearance that I've been the least pleased with, and for the longest amount of time. I have small, stubby hands and very, very short nail beds. Even with my nails grown out quite a bit... -

I bet with well done ones, you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at them. Mine looked really great when I had them and no one was ever the wiser unless I mentioned it. -
