AM radio- how is it where U are?

When, and if, they change the radio bands to digital, you'll have to use a digital receiver, and an AM transmitter to send the signal to your old radio.

AM radio- how is it where U are?

It looks like the FCC is holding off converting the AM & FM band to digital at present, so you'll just have to deal with digital TV in 2009. The greedy RIAA is hoping to establish controls on digital radio, to force you to keep buying into the dying CD format. Of course the RIAA has your best...

AM radio- how is it where U are?

Awful, and is why I invested in an AM transmitter some years ago. I guess 2009 is when it's all going digital. :rage: I wonder if the new digital converters will last as long as this baby. ;)

    Captured German Aircraft - Video

A captured FA-223. The FA-223 was an interesting, though flawed early helicopter. (As were most early helicopters, but that is another story) The first U.S. military helicopter, before Sikorsky's XR-4, with performance similar to the FA-223, but hampered by protracted development. (The...

    Matching Stratoliner tie clip

The TWA Stratoliner & DC-3 pins were produced for the airline, and seem to have been adopted by modern hat wearers, there was likely never a connection to the hat back in the day. If Stetson based their own Stratoliner pin on the artwork from the hat box, it would seem that a authentic Stetson...

HATCO - Could you "clear" something up?

I was curious if there was a surviving original Stratoliner hat pin lurking in the company archives, and if possible could we see a picture to document what one actually looks like?
