I think it's OK, but for the price the details are fairly average. I ordered one of these this week on recommendation: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/speedway-shop/ls-003/

    30's~40's Work Boots

Buzz Ricksons already makes these type of boots as do a few other companies over there and here. I would guess that scarcity and demand created the high price.

We got a ton of cat eye 30's buttons at the last vintage clothing show...dirt cheap.

30s England style haircut - how to describe to and receive from modern barber

I'd be OK with that too...just not some crappy modern interpretation of the pompadour.

There are plenty of work shirts out there without the chinstrap. The Buzz Rickson mock twist chambray comes to mind. http://www.buzzricksons.jp/product/work-0011.html

Hey, if Dickies or Carhartt start making period perfect 1930's workwear for $20 a pop I'll be glad to buy it and destroy it. This stuff is just fashion.

Nice article! I have to agree that their shirts are really comfortable and look great. FYI, the gray one does not have selvage.

BTW Marineabilly...where are you finding the measurements in English on his site?

Funny thing is, 17.5 is a pretty big neck for a shirt that only has a 23" chest measurement. I wish he'd make the 17.5 with a 24" chest.

As long as the lab will do it, I don't think it's an issue. You could actually pick any pair of vintage frames and do the same.
