I was reading the "sneak a peek" from "Retro Makeup" and in the 40's page the author refers to Cyclax of London producing a Service Beauty Kit for British servicewomen, and Elizabeth Arden producing a Service Kit, presumably for American servicewomen. Over the top at the royal wedding
If there was anything to make me happy about a royal wedding, it was knowing the hats would be out in force. But Beatrice's hat... I think I see what they were going for. I'm "renovating" my Dorothy Grey compact, and I'll be trying the powder paste concoction this weekend. But the attached lipstick tube is giving me fits!
