Congrats and it will get better, much of it is technique and of course the tools which work for your face. Blades are a bigger issue than many think so see if you can acquire a trial pack of blades. If nothing else try Derby because for some reason many like them.

Ah, a few years back a went to get my hair cut. I went into a classy salon and found that I had made my appointment with a beautiful young woman. She washed my hair gave me a massage, cut and styled. Then when she was almost completely done she told me that they sold Rogaine...This was the first...
You know that is a good question....Onyx is a semi-precious stone which normally has a very low price point. That being the case it is not as often replaced with a simulant. Ahh, but still it is....so we have to look closely. The most often used to simulate onyx is ...enamel or faux enamel...
The HD is a great starting place. I gave mine away a few months back to a friend who wanted to get into shaving with a DE. Now if I can just get him to buy his own soap and creme....lol

Of course I do a bit of prep and even at 3 days you are not paying that much either.
I have been known to push the blade further than my face prefers as well....
Well the razor looks to be a Gillette "Old Style" which used a different blade than we do today. Many of that style had a hollow handle which may be cracked where it attaches to the head. The body looks like it may be one of the silver plated models but it is hard to tell from the picture. As...
Being a craftsman myself I appreciate when someone who actually makes a product is part of the community. It is very nice to have the insight of someone like yourself and the other Vendors to talk with about something that we enjoy.
A fine looking Hat there Mr. Oak though I must admit that I'm starting to find it difficult to tell all of these hats apart not being in person as it were.
Dear sir, I must admit that I almost, possibly could, if provoked take umbrage to your comment. As a past player of D&D I will let pass...
Arthur I too get some longevity out of the DE blades. I have been using Derby blades for the last 10 months and I can push a blade to 7 days. Which means that my five dollar order of 25 blades lasts....over six months. That offsets my fondness for trying out new things....lol
Lazy Day
Well I have my daughter this weekend and we have started it off in superb fashion. We got up late, watched cartoons, ate waffles and have played games. Needless to say shaving wasn't thought about until, well, now....lol
hope you've all had a good day as well!
Ah, that info I didn't have thanks. I did find pictures of the same or close to it but with no comments of date by a seller. Experience has taught me not to take sellers estimations as fact, due diligence is needed.
Beautiful Bob....though I think I will have to consider that a tease...lol
Oh, how did I miss this thread...I have been watching Doctor Who for as long as I can remember. Many people over the years have given me odd looks when I mention being a fan....their loss. As I type this i look up and see the key to time adventure (DVD) above my monitor.

Please, please, please take pictures.......lol
You know I just realized that the "favorite diner" has a hat rack now. I never paid attention to it because I have never worn a hat there....pancakes and syrup don' mix well.
