    Perdomo ESV '91 maduro torpedo this evening with Johnny Black. I know it's not a single malt, but it's taking up space in my cabinet. When it's gone I'll replace it with something tastier.

    Two cigar day today. Cain 550 maduro before dinner and a CAO Lx2 after. Black Forest chops on the grill between them. Not bad at all.

    Received a shipment from Holt's this afternoon. Had an Old Henry Runt (petit corona) this afternoon and a Gold belicoso tonight with the last few drops of Laphroaig in the house. These are very nice smokes for a reasonable price. If you haven't tried one I recommend them.

    Bolivar petit corona tonight with a taste or two of MacDuff, a 27 year old speyside. The Bolivars are coming along very well, and the MacDuff was smooth as glass.

    Perdomo Habano Conn toro last night. First cigar in more than two weeks thanks to a cold probably due to the warm one day then cool the next weather we've been having.

    Could be both. I waited for two days for a reasonably bright day so I could take pictures outside. Since I'm not much of a photographer, I prefer natural light to show truer colors. Even then since the ribbon is so dark it comes across more black than blue. Thanks everyone for the nice...

    MAXX conn tonight again complements of John and Dee. Thanks again, guys. Nice cigar. I thought the blend was fuller than I remembered the older MAXX. Had it with Aberlour. Very nice.

    Capped the evening with a Perdomo Patriarch maduro robust and uncapped a new bottle of McClelland's Highland. I should have had the Patriarch first and then the Silvio, but it was still quite nice.

    Panama hats with folded and sewn brims

    I've never seen a panama with a folded and sewn brim. All I've seen were backwoven, even the less expensive panamas.
