I really like brim binding. And I’ve prepaid to that point. Certainly I think brim binding will match the ribbon. Those are gorgeous by the way. Makes me think color matching the ribbon might not be too bad. If it weren’t for other hobbies/projects I’d already be ordering a Moss Green just... -

Ah, well I’ve a ruler for translating cm to inches. Saves me the hassle of using the Budweiser/Freedom Eagle equation. I’m sure it’ll be beautiful. Haven’t personally seen a negative word anywhere online about Michael or his work. -

Slummin’ with my Stetson Bozeman. Waiting patiently for the “outdoorsy Fedora” I’ve ordered from Mr. Gannon. On my way to the park to run my 2.5 year old out of steam. -

That’s quite nice looking. But not what I’m looking for at this point. I’m certain I’m going to go with a modest width ribbon. Though as far as Rattlesnake goes, I could always go back home to Western South Dakota and hunt one for that purpose. Ran into a ton of them as a kid. -

Outdoorsy Fedora is probably the best description I can think of for what I have in my head and have described to Michael. My Specs so far, as communicated: Size 7 1/4, 3.5 inch brim (bound), crown creased to a teardrop shape at about 4.5-5 inches. -

I use my phone primarily for the forum. The results I get doing this are mixed. Either way, I’ve sent Mr. Gannon the deposit to order a Charcoal, Western Weight 100X. I’ve not yet committed to a Ribbon color. I would appreciate any and all thoughts on the subject. -

Having officially reopened my inquiry with Mr. Gannon, I’ve stated my interest in Charcoal as the color instead of the Dark Moss. (My wife suggested my habit of wearing primarily OD Green shirts would cause that to look too “uniform”.) I agree. And I’m trying to pull away from that anyway... -

Is tapered Crown the norm? And I like darker, earth tones. I’m thinking Black or Charcoal ribbon. With a matching brim binding because I like the look.
