Could be something to do with their pricing, they seem to have dropped all their discounts. When I placed the order they emailed me to say that they were out of stock but could have it made as special order if I wished to keep my order standing, which I did. At any rate, they said 6-8 weeks so... -

I ran into the same thing on western I re-blocked some time ago. Fortunately it was just glued at a spot where it touches the crown and along the sides, I was able to gently separate it., looked like Elmer's glue. It did not have the barrier or what I believe was known as the silk sweat liner... -

Looks like 2 ribbons to me, one matches the brim binding ( original ), the other a different ribbon placed over the original. LMM is right about the rifle cal. You could drive a freight train through that bore. -
