Not far from allentown, Ian just called with a 350 in a blazer hooked up to the same T-5 that's already in my plymouth, saves us the hassle of locating the bellhousing. We're trying to schedule a look see for tomorrow. I'll let you all know what we find. Oh, Balzer is still on the road, allways...
And...as an addition to the thread... A momentus moment is on schedule for today! I'm taking my 17 year old son, Sid, for his learners permit today!!
Where does the time go??
It's not that I care at all about the V8...it was a good price for a low mileage donor...obviously too good to be true. Budget and reliability are my main constraints, I'm just a poor workin slob with three teenagers and a work at home wife(homeschooling the kids and teaching english to...
Interesting points, Widebrim, I got to thinking about my Father after reading the above. I spent my teens and early twenties trying to be different than my father, then, at some point changed my views (had children) and started trying to be just like DAD.
Now it is a great source of pride to be...
Thought I'd post a few more pics of my baby! I recieved some bad news today on my donor motor....cracked block. So I'm on the lookout once again for a replacement for my worn out straight six.
Talk little, listen much! Wise words to live by. People love to talk about the thing that interests them most...Key word there..
"THEM". Encourage others to talk about themselves and you'll make friends fast, and it's not just a mind game, how else will you discover common interests with others.

Lest anyone get the impression from my pictures above that I've got tame hair, I post these pictures of my coif first thing in the morning. I swear I don't sleep in curlers!! Morning ritual consist of soaking my head in the sink with warm water to relax that thing on top! Followed by a...
Hey Cumberworth, any chance of you posting pics of your haircut from a few different angles? It always looks so perfect in the pics you post on the suit threads.
As soon as I get home tonight I'll take some pics of the sweaters my wife has made for me. She's a very proficient knitter and I love the wools she has made . She also makes me tons of hats!! I know, I know..you're all jeolous!!
Not really shellac! It just rhymed with "back"!! In the picture I only had just soaked it down with warm water after the bottom photos. If I'm going out I'll use any ol hair gel to keep her wet and in place. Brylcreme works well enough.
I'm partial to the Farm truck idea! But at the moment I'm in the middle of another car project so she'll have to wait a bit longer. She gets plenty of attention though, sitting over there, people stop all the time and take pictures. I've even found photos and paintings of her in the county fairs!
Thanks Michael, that an interesting bit of information that I didn't know about the Mossberg. To tell the truth..I've never shot the gun. My grandfather passed away three years ago at the age of 94 and the family decided I should have the gun. I never heard how he acquired it but I've a few...
