    With an Indian Summer in full swing in Los Angeles (85 degrees at 5:00 in the afternoon), we had a Tom Collins from highball glasses with my late father's initials etched in them. Very refreshing!

    D.R. Harris makes some great products (like their "Pick-Me-Up" tonic--read hangover cure--that is 80 proof!) and i think that their Bay Rum is some of the best -- they are well known for their Arlington aftershave, too. Great site--thanks for sharing.

    There is a new bar opening downtown called Salvage--everything in it has been salvaged from old buildings in Los Angeles--should be very cool. It is in the ground floor of the Roosevelt lofts on 7th Street, accross from Macy's. Should be opening any day now....
