What Did You Drink Last Night?
House cocktail (at my house) was a White Lady (gin, lemon juice and powdered sugar) but with I cut back the sugar and added a touch of Amaretto--the almond flavor really worked well with the gin and lemon--in this case Meyers lemons which grow just outside the kitchen windows.- Alex Oviatt

Hunting with truly vintage Griffin & Howe rifle

Old smells, that immeditately transport you back in time?
Nothing smells better than Hoppe's No. 9, in my opinion. I was just out at a sporting clay shoot (St. Hubertus' feast day) and enjoyed the smell that evening when I cleaned my gun.- Alex Oviatt

Wider is best for me, although I have a Trilby that has a fairly short brim. I think that dimensional brims can be a great way to get the right look and balance.- Alex Oviatt
