    Lovely, thanks for sharing!

strangest, weirdist or just plain wrong toy from your youth

My toy was the Skydancer. My sister and I flung them at each other's faces when we were fighting. I think they're still around, but they're not the same at all. I wish I had a Little Miss No Name doll. They were apparently big in the 60's.

    Besides Pop?

I never drink most sodas. I really don't consume much sugar in my diet (not intentionally, but I suppose it's a good thing), so drinking something from the big soda brands is too much for me. I'm a water person. Sweet tea, sometimes. I'd like to try those fancy sodas that I forgot the...

    Photography Make-up?

It's true!! In the 20's photo above, I'm actually wearing a ridiculous amount of bright (almost hot) pink blush right on the apples of my cheeks. You can barely see it in the photos.

    Photography Make-up?

Seconded! That also means that you shouldn't wear sunscreen on your face when being photographed...at least not natural sunscreens (active ingredient is titanium dioxide). I heard the chemically ones are okay, but I try to avoid that stuff. My makeup for my 1920's shoot was pancake-y (I...

    more female stars in fedoras?

One of my friends landed a role as a narrator for a local noir play, and a fedora was part of her costume. Once she put the hat on, she never took it off. :)

    Show us your hair do's....

Johanna -- I'm pretty sensitive to permanent dyes too, except for a few select brands that don't last very long. Have you ever tried henna? I got great results with black henna mixed with a little bit of indigo dye...you just have to make sure you buy the henna without any additives.

The colors were MAC, I believe, and we mixed a brown and a red.

    Gentlemen's Clubs

Haha, I was always really amused by the "new" definition of a gentleman's club. "May I take your coat, sir?"

    LADIES of the LOUNGE

Haha, the makeup took two full hours to apply. I actually looked very ghoulish in real life! I think the eye makeup was the easiest, especially since I'm one of those odd types who doesn't need fake lashes for a shoot. The lips were the hardest, and we had to mix a special color of lipstick...

    1930s vintage in today's gyms

Ooh, I've been thinking about this as well. What about repro-ish attire for non-gym sports, like rock climbing and yoga? I mean, you can wear regular "street clothes" to a climbing gym, but my problem is that my street clothes usually consist of a pencil skirt or slacks!! Hehehe.

    The perfect lip gloss

Try the Body Shop's lip and cheek stain (they only have one shade, and it's a sheer red that gets darker as you layer it) with a clear gloss. I also have this really great red gloss that looks sparkly in the bottle, but really just adds a subtle sheen and a little bit of color. I got it at...

What was you dreamjob as a kid?

One of my good friends is a ghost HUNTER...she started working for one of those ABC Family shows at age 15. I'm incredibly jealous.

Credo of the new Vintage Lady

Ackkk, girls at my high school used to come to school in their pajamas all the time! Eeek. I acknowledge that a lady needs a comfy outfit every now and then (I need one at least once a month...), but pajamas are a completely different story! Alternatives: Loose slacks Jeans (not too...
