Show us your hair do's....
ok, so this isn't my hair, but....I would love to have my hair look like this. Very dressy 30's or early 40's. I was just looking at this new movie trailer with Nicole Kidman in it. Look at her hair when she is at the long dinner table. So cute. Seems easy to recreate. Too bad I don't look like... -

In a semi-recent issue of "Country Living Magazine" they did a spread on craft rooms. The one lady had an old china cabinet (I'm guessing from the 20's or 30's). Painted all white. ohhh perfect idea! i'm a big lip balm user but i prefer the kind in the typical tubes. but...i have tons of lipsticks in yucky ugly plastic tubes that could use a pretty home! seems messy but i'll try it. nothing really to lose. -

help needed with big model shoot
I don't know if this is possible with hot rollers/sticks, but my aunt is a beautician. and we were talking about perms and how to get that perfect S wave. she said they were taught to use a smaller roller for the first part of the perm. and then after that was all done, you re-roll your hair in... -

the containers are VERY shallow. it wont fit change. mabye some pills...that's a good idea. but probably only one dose of a pill that is small in size. if it's a big pill, it won't fit. they are just so pretty. there is even a mirror inside. i'd really hate to throw this away. -

well...better to wear it and enjoy it than to sit in a landfill. my parent's elderly neighbor threw away all her brother's WW2 uniforms and gear a few years back because "who would want that old stuff?" I almost cried!- leaette

Best WWII museums
If you go to Ohio, in the city of Hubbard (Near the Pennsylvania border), there is a vehicle museum. Dedicated to the 4th Armored. My reenactment unit is based out of this museum. Great place to look around. It never gets old to me! http://www.wwiivehiclemuseum.com -
