At 22oz I find that the skin transfer is more likely due to struggling with the fabric thickness when they're new, rather than the quality of the denim.
I was just admiring the jacket myself as I'm doing some work around the house. Minimal design and quality craftsmanship make it a special item. Aero hit the mark with this design. Thanks for the shout out
You guys know your stuff - I wore a new pair of jeans with the jacket the other day and they did some damage. After discovery I put the jeans in the wash..
Prior to the jacket I'd go 6 months before my first soak. I may have to change my regiment.
Yeah I hear that. I admit that I wore a brand new pair with the jacket and they've since been washed. There will still be blood however - heavy indigo...
I’ve worn my Highwayman only a handful of times and I’ve discovered my raw denim jeans are bleeding indigo into the tweed liner of the jacket and I wanted to reach out. My denim stable consists of 21.5 & 22oz superheavyweight denim - when new my hands turn blue by the time I get to the top...
Thanks for the comment. It feels better and better every time I wear it. The jacket is slim fitting on me, so taking it off requires some elbow grease but that's ok with me.
Cool. I didn't see it mentioned, but my guess is it's Irish Donegal Tweed because Harris Tweed will have their authority seal stitched in place. My jacket has Donegal Tweed and it's holding up great and I really enjoy the colors - I like yours too.
