i'm a leftie. and i crochet leftie. my gram taught me to crochet and she was a leftie too. there are instruction books out there for leftie instructions. to me, crocheting leftie makes more sense to my brain because you go from left to right (like when you're reading). when i watch people...- leaette

Thoughts on cake mascara
antje: cake mascara comes in a little container (kind of like an eye shadow container). not in a tube like what we are used to. you have to wet your brush and rub it on the dried mascara that is in the container. that's what they had "back in the day". -

kittyt: what type of mascara do you use? i need waterproof too. that mercury stuff in the other brands is very scarey!!!! that's the stuff they used to put in the shots they give babies and alot of mothers think that that is what gave their kids autism. they don't put it in shots anymore... -

My Newest Treasures - Waterfall Style Lane Cedar Chest
mine is just like that too. my grampa gave it to my grandma on their wedding day 2-14-46 i have it in my basement. we keep our tablecloths in it. i'm glad you got one too. glad to see it in a good home.- leaette

Collecting Vintage Postcards
i have about 15 of them from my town mostly from the 40s. i like looking at them to see how things have changed, especially the downtown area. haven't displayed them yet though. would love to find a big frame that will fit a ton of them on there with a nice mat.- leaette

my son is just about 10 months old and we use disposable ones. i'm very eco conscious but that is one thing that i will NOT give up. nothing is more grosser and unsanitary than using cloth diapers. you have to swish the diaper in your toilet to get the poo out and then let the diaper soak in a...- leaette
