    Food network, anyone?

'that could be a whole theme of a cook book there. as to the food network, I do enjoy watching also. I don't enjoy though watching the cooks eat for the most part. Most of them never learned to hold a fork correctly. Guy F especially can't use utensils...

Bills Khakis . . . what do you think ?

they're okay. I have a couple of pairs. Find them on ebay for cheap if you can. I'd spend the money on original ones if you can find them, but the Bills will do in a pinch. Levi's makes a pretty good pair as does RRL....

    Show us your vintage home!

judging from all the old homes I've lived in it's probably something silly like they moved from the 10" toilet to the 12" and and the holed didn't match up but they had this old piece of marble so they used to cover up the extra hole or... the toilet water line was just a tad short so they...

    Show us your vintage home!

Grant, I really love that house. Just one question... what is the slab of marble under the toilet for? I think I get the one under the heater so it doesn't rust if it gets too wet, but I don't get the toilet...

The devolution of our society through fashion in just two pictures.

I think the guys in the shorts and tees plus the flat brim ball caps are more of a west coast thing, and younger guys watch tv and emulate that look.... Just like younger guys watched films in the 40's and emulated that look. And how many "surfers" were there in the 60's in Iowa... about as...

The devolution of our society through fashion in just two pictures.

I'm not opposing, just saying where's his butt? I never liked the look of low waisted pants, either like he's wearing or the standard "today's" style. I'm not a fan of skinny jeans either. but looking at the photos in question, it looks as though both men are trying to wear what's...

Thunder Bay be Aero Cafe racer question

it's a regular Aero jacket, only a one of. Might have been a special hide that isn't on their regular run. I own a half belt that Ken made for me years ago with a special test hide he had. He put the Thunder bay label it because it wasn't the normal run of Aero.
