    Actually it appears to me to be a cross between the styles. I think it's a new or newer, 70s 80s, hat so probably a blend or wool. Brim is 2 1/8 so not the normal Alpine stingy. I will try to post a photo in a round about way. [/IMG]

    I don't have the hat in hand or sufficient photos. But it's the same size tag and appears to be the same liner logo. Does have a black sweatband if that matters. Not even sure if it's wool or fur felt but it doesn't state wool on the hat. I v'e never had one or handled one.
