I'm not a Indy man. Probably the only hat wearing guy that has never seen a Indy movie.
While trolling around on the Bay tonight this Stetson Indy caught my eye because of the BIN price. $120.00.
Can someone explain to me why this hat went for $120.00? And, FAST too...
Thanks for the comments guys. My Marathon beater looks better in the photo than in person. Doesn't fit well enough to send out for a professional clean and block.
It's another great day of hats.
OCMH, Teach...Terrific Strats
7XCB..Top Shelf again, Dave
Manfred, That's a riveting photo...
Update on ebay issue. Frustrating situation has been resolved with a satisfactory ending. Hat arrived in good shape. Seller included a Stetson hat box that I didn't expect, somewhat battered and damaged but still usable.
Stetson Whippet: Going to need a little cleaning and brushing ...
Coming to you from NOT so sunny Florida...Cold, windy, wet, fog....OMG, I'm in Seattle. :ohwell:
One of my first fedoras, now a beater/rain hat. Penny's Marathon.

Good job, Josh.....you missed your calling. I've always been amazed at what you can do with a hat.
Wonderful shot, Alan. That's a Vintage Hat Catalog caliber photo. hint hint hint
Thanks for the comments guys. It's much appreciated.
Don't stress to much over the perfect hat the first time.
The reason Richard pulls off different styles, shapes, brim widths is he "wears" the hat.....the hat is not wearing him. He's comfortable wearing his hats.
You will most likely feel "conspicuous" at first but you get used to...
Welcome to the Lounge. I agree with a wider brim and taller crown for you.
Check out a couple of days of the 'What hat are you wearing today' thread and you'll see all kinds of hat shapes, styles, brim widths and face shapes.
Sharpe Adam, Perry. Are you in a undisclosed location today?
Nice color on the moss, teach.
Good job on the Fed IV, Monk.
Always enjoy your carmack whiskey, Case. But, you just gotta come out of that snow.
Good looking WAR Champ, Bowlerman.
Did somebody say WAR Wednesday? Adam...
Looks like a great day for hats....
Sharpe Knox, TJ

I'm off driving the Vet shuttle van to Veterans hospital in Lake city, Fl.
No time to post "Hat of the Day" now. But, I'm thinking my Portis Tissue weight for the ride.
Late to the party today.....You guys are killing it today.....
Nice black hat, Josh....I've been looking for the right one for a while....
Riding the Northeast Florida weather roller coaster again today. High 70s, may hit 80. Another degree or two and I'm breaking out a straw.
Taupe...
