Maybe it's NOT too loose, and it's actually just me who isn't used to how it wears. It won't actually drop if I hang upside down or look down. I'd just rather have it snug (since it'll elongate the profile when it's snug).

Just bought and received 2 Borso Ivy caps from Bencraft.
According to a hat chart, I'm on the large side of M, but the M isn't quite as fitted as I'd like it to be. Is there any way to make it more snug? Same thing as with fedora? I.e. stuffing behind the sweatband?
Does anyone have any idea how to put a "curve" into the brim of a new Ivy?
Basically the brim is (almost 180degrees) flat right now, and I want a slight curve on it.

A little harder (if not impossible) in the case of straw hats, no? But yeah I get what you're saying, I mean Borsalino hats are relatively... unique, insofar as they're rather distinctive. However, the price is rather steep for a non-custom hat.
How far downhill has Borsalino's felt quality gone as of late? They really have superior creases and all (of all my hats, custom and otherwise, my Borsalinos have the nicest crease), but I'm wondering if the price can be justified somehow.

On a side note... This thread referenced something about the "COW connection," with regard to crown taper (I was google-ing for information earlier, when I came across it). What does that mean? I'm pretty sure it's got nothing to do with bovines...
