Remove your hat?
I agree with the last few posters. I, normally, remove my hat indoors as a matter of courtesy. It's interesting how society has rebelled against things like this claiming it was all arbitrary to begin with. I normally leave that hat ON in grocery stores, big-box retailers and such as it is too... -

Guys, this thread has been great. I'm raised Roman Catholic from New Orleans, and it SEEMS that everyone simply went to Church. I'm only 39. Color coordinating a hat

I prefer the lighter, but do like both of them. It does match up with so much. I agree, also, that the darker the hat, the more formal it tends to be. -
Can't find a hat bursh, what can I use instead?
I pulled out an extra Kiwi shoe shine brush, last night. It's clean, I hadn't used it before. It's very effective. I used it on the same black Kensington, and it's really starting to shape up, and get clean. A few more times and it'll be downright formal. :) -

How do you "mark" your hat as yours?
Well, I just stood up, pulled out my wallet and put my business card inside my sweat band. Now that I read it's tradition, I like it even more. Thanks for the heads-up I agree that with the decline of civility, the "Like Hell it's Yours..." could be another step on that slow road to oblivion... -
An all time low in common knowledge
What would you like to bet she knows good and well how to pronounce it when she walks the protest march? Is a "newsboy" the proper moniker for what I call a flat cap? Or a "bebop hat?"
