I do have a Tilley Airflo in OD green for hiking. I agree on all counts about its virtues! But for this particular piece, I was thinking of something more traditional looking....

Idea for a beater fedora that can get sweaty?
Here in NYC it gets humid even in milder temperatures. I sweat more than average, and my pate is bald too! So what would be a good idea for a fedora that I can allow to get sweaty, say when moving, schlepping boxes, maybe even hiking? Thanks so much!

Mike, I've never seen a hat like that one, with a slight Optimo crease. And a luxurious pug to boot. BTW, are those AO sunglasses? I'm a fan of that brand ever since my Army days!

OK, now I want to try one! I will wear it with a fedora crease of some sort, not the cattleman's. I'll look for vintage on ebay. But I have a question on sizing as I've never tried on a Stetson before. My head measurement is 22.25". Depending on the maker, it puts me at 7 1/8 or 7 1/4. 57...
