Tablecloths in the 1930s and 1940s

You could also use a large crochet piece rather than a full cloth that would hang down. That is think was very common. My Grandmother used them in her living room for as long as I can remember.

    Vintage Brown Peep Toe Heels

Sorry I missed your post on the shoes I had listed. I wear a modern 8 or 8 1/2. These are too narrow for me. They are sized 8 AA. I have relisted them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180090273895

Can you identify a use for this unusual detail?

My guess would be decorative too. They have more of that look than a utilitarian look. I LOVE the dress too!!

Are you more of a vintage girl, or a modern girl?

I would say I am about 60% vintage and 40% modern. I have to find a balance of the two. If I don't I drive myself crazy. :D

Finally here is the gown I made for my step daughter's prom. It is a new pattern but definitly has a vintage 50's feel. I will have to post a pic again when she has it on as you can't see the shape of it too well on the hanger.

    Under eye cream

I haven't used the eye cream yet but I swear by Olay in general. :eusa_clap Wonderful products at a good price. Not the cheapest at the drugstore but better than department store prices.

I could care less if WM does away with it's fabrics. Their quaily is just terrible. Cottons are thin and the weaves are too loose, prints are dull. I much rather pay a bit more at Hancock or Hobby Lobby. And if I need something special I can't find in town, the internet is the best source.

    What are your hobbies?

My most expensive hobby would have to be doll collecting and restoration. I can buy the dolls cheeper because I am buying ones that need to be saved from the landfill. But then the supplies, airbrush, paints, tools, fabric etc all adds up. I try to offset the cost by doing work for others but...
