I always find it hilarious when parents combine the believing their child is the most brilliant thing ever with believing he can't possibly UNDERSTAND at his age and its so cruel to expect him to.
I see a lot of people who yammer on about how gifted their kid is but then say "but you can't...
My mother went the other way with my younger siblings and I: our manners had to be a lot nicer than the McDonald's we were at actually required, but she figured we couldn't go to anyplace other than McDonald's until we learned and how would we learn if we didn't practice?
I think that way...
Soft gray might be kinder than blue, and possibly some stone/khaki neutrals might work as well. That's barely more exciting than off-white, I know, but that kind of pattern doesn't need a lot of competition.
A toast colour could be warm without being too much.
Gray or black trousers, solid tie in black or red, works with your black shoes. I'd be leery of striped ties, honestly, but seeing is believing, so post pics if you find a look you like.
I liked the pic with the herringbone cap. Very good-looking, sir, I must say.
Exactly, Shangas! Good one.
Me, though, my steak is always as red as the end of a lit cigarette, and if you listen closely you can still hear plaintive moos. ;)
My guy complains about my affection for "raw meat" but whatever.
It depends on what you mean by bad. Completely correct holding of forks is a different tier, to me, than not talking with food in your mouth or chewing with your mouth open.
I also really resent people who comment on other people's food. If you didn't order something I did, and you don't...
Then I'll give her more leeway for not having red shoes?
Goodness knows I don't have all the shoes I would have if I had Dita's money and ability to declare them business expenses.
I should decide who's twin sister I want to be. lol
Heh, yeah, I think the shoes might work better with a different look. There they just kind of look washed out.
I understand wanting soles like that for on grass, though. Much easier than stilettos. It's mostly the colour I don't think works with the dress.
I think girls in my area can get away with a bit more than guys can as far as "all at once." Boots, skirt/jeans and piped shirt could just look cute on a girl but a guy would definitely hear about it.
I think jeans + one more Western element is as far as a guy can go, here, simultaneously...
I don't remember if I posted in this thread, but if I did it was years ago.
The name comes from being one of my favorite flowers AND a girls' name of the Golden Era that you don't hear anymore. My own name doesn't really have a vintage feel, though my nickname does sort of. If I was picking a...
I think a pink-red pair of shoes would have looked cuter with that dress, honestly. Or red shoe clips on cream shoes.
For what those shoes she's wearing cost... I don't know. I'm not as in love with the look as I usually am with Dita.
I had a hawthorn in my backyard that has since gone to the Great Compost Bin In The Sky, and that thing was so thorny I can't imagine working with it. Hazel should grow here, though.
What I have access to the most of is probably locust. It's thin and straight and not too heavy. I don't know...
The round hatboxes that really shut and have handles and are more real luggage than just pretty cardboard stacking boxes would be pretty sweet. I could get pics of what I mean. The sort that looks good on top of a pile of vintage suitcases.
Just a slight aside, there, AtomicEraTom, but there's a big difference between a history of cheating and just, you know, having a slight before-they-dated you history. I mean, all things in moderation, but... yeah I don't know where I'm going with this I'll be quiet now.
