Yikes, those are all cute... I looked through the suggested shoes down at the bottom too. It's like the flat rate for shoes is $150!
I feel the same way when I look at Fluevogs. Damn you, John Fluevog and your cute Victorian boots! :rage: lol
I'm weird about shoes, though. I love...
Thanks so much, Daisy!
I was at CVS today to buy stuff and it was like it got raided for the apocalypse... nothing there! I will definitely put this to good use.
Actually, I think I just mentioned The Claws (as I like to call them) in passing in that other thread and I can't even remember which one it was
My great grandmother was a wardrobe mistress for Paramount during the heyday... my grandma says the stars used to call her Mother :)...
Where the posts are, I will follow ;)
I kinda like that it's all stashed away in one place, but I wouldn't be averse to having a "Dressing Room" for the ladies so long as we don't talk about high armholes ;)
Ohhhh, there's some lovely dresses and patterns being bought. I really wish I had stuck with sewing after my high school home ec class!
I know I'm not even supposed to be looking at eBay, but... the Buy It Now... it mocks me!
Taffeta is swishy:
And this dress had neat little...
Has anyone ever had their brows threaded? It's such a better way to shape brows and do clean up (for me, anyway) than waxing. I'd heard about it, but none of the waxing places I went to had anyone trained until....
...I was having my makeup done by an artist who also knew how to thread...
Ah, that's great Kimberly! I'll never get the comma brow in my wildest dreams, but maybe I can aspire to those lashes... those are pretty great too. ;)
(Though I'm not sure I'm going to get there using Maybelline :D )
I'd love to try it, if you're willing to post how to do it and how to make the sugaring "potion" ;) I've always been keen to try it, but I only knew one person who sugared and it was that Nad's stuff, I think. She didn't like it, but I can't remember her reason.
Anyway, I like making my own...
Where did I read that an ice cream float was the best thing??? [huh]
Never tried it, but the caffeine was supposed to work on the headache and the coldness from the ice cream worked on a queasy stomach.
Oops, sorry, that wasn't the most literate of sentence I wrote there :p I meant that when I saw the brooch on a ribbon, I thought that you had already been wearing it as a choker.
I don't know what the back of the brooch looks like, so I'm not sure how it SHOULD be worn... I'm assuming...
When I first saw the brooch like that, I thought you were using it as a choker. So cute to wear something a little low cut and tie the ribbon in a bow in the back or a little on the side.
How pretty!
Hee, yeah, I knew everyone would recognize that model, even though I cut off her head :p I actually bought two of her dresses today for the same price as I was willing to pay for the one I really wanted weeks ago, so I guess it worked out in the end.
But now I'm on a strict eBay diet...
I've tried the Noir Red. I have the box set and Noir Red is the one that gets used the least often because it's so dark. I wear reds everyday and Noir is definitely a nighttime shade for me. It reminds me of Chanel's Vamp which... I'm not sure they make any more, but it's definitely more...
