Oh god, it's like the 60s and the 80s all over again. Thanks for the nightmare.
Are those... spats? [bad] I like spats! They've ruined spats forever for me.
These are cute, Daisy. I'm a sucker for shoes with a cute buckle.
I just did a quick search on Naturalizer since some ladies were talking about them in the other thread. No kidding about wading through all those shoes, but what a fun time killer ;)
That's so funny! I was going to mention Inis, but I didn't think anyone else would know what I was talking about. I actually wore the lotion today without any scent on top and it stayed with me all day!
CanadaDoll and starla... I'll definitely be checking out the Armani scents. You ladies...
Any recommendations?
I'm going on a girly shopping trip this week and I need a new scent.
I've constantly been on the search for my one-and-only scent, and the ones I pick never last!
Anyone find any new scents this year that they're in love with? I usually like spicy, musky, or rosy...
I've only got one tattoo on my foot, and it can be mostly hidden with any shoes that aren't sandals.
I've been like pigeon toe, though. There are three designs I've been knocking around in my head for YEARS. One would be on the back of my neck and the other two would be in the exact same...
No kidding! I've never been to Anthropologie, but someone mentioned in another thread that they had cute vintage inspired shoes so I click the link and....
Wow. The little peeptoes I thought were cute were retailing for $430. Whaa? I was going to check the store out this week, but...
I got all dolled up this weekend with coiffed hair, red lips, a little forties skirt and sweater, seamed stockings, vintage shoes... the works.
The only person to make a comment was a nice old gentleman who works at my local Barnes and Noble.
He said, "Good for you for buying P.G...
Besame is the greatest! It's a little pricey, but I use the souffle foundation everyday and it covers so well that it lasts forever.
Daisy's totally spot on with the lipsticks. They last forever, but they also don't give you that cakey gunky stuff on your lips if you wear it a long time...
I read Graysmith's book years ago, and saw that he has an updated version in the bookstores now.
I saw the film this weekend and I really liked it. Not a huge Gyllenhaal fan (he just didn't age at all during the course of the movie :) ) but he did a good job with the boyscout type character...
Hmmm, you said you wanted it to be cute, so I'm thinking you don't want it over-the-top fancy shmancy either? Something kinda fun?
You could do the colours of ribbons/decorations/favours in Tiffany blue. If there's going to be a table with food, maybe sprinkle some sparkly glitter around...
I may be venturing into no-woman's land here, but I've been really excited about this since the first time I saw the trailer!
It must appeal to the 30 year old man inside me :D
Mojito, as a purse obsessionist, I congratulate you on your find, but it's your bronze sculpture that's got me in a tizzy!
It's beautiful! There's just something about the pose and the way the clothes are draping and flowing that is just gorgeous!
Before I read your post, I thought...
Thanks for bringing it up.
I hate looking for magazines in bookstores... everything always seems to be in such a jumble, I can never find anything.
But this might be worth an anxiety-ridden search for me ;)
Ha! Okay, you're right about the kid from Married With Children. I can't even remember his name, so that's a good indicator of how annoying/hard up for work he is now ;)
But I'm a Hiro lover! I can't help it! :o I hate cheesy things, too, but as long as they keep them to a minimum and...
