Well I suppose if they were going to sneak off to the pub, they'd probably want to go quite quickly, so yes, I think they could beetle off in this instance! :D
Agreed, on all points. The last school I worked at implemented a similar principle; we used to use an outside caterer but it got to the point where out of the the 360 pupils at the school, less than twenty would have a school dinner. So the head dropped the caterers and employed a proper chef...
Of course - I always find that having access to my clothes helps immensely. It makes me feel less like a stranger in my new home!
But at least the cleansers and shampoos will go further! If you can get them, Origins make brilliant moisturisers for ultra dry skin - much better than plastering...
Gosh that is so true. As a teen there was a lad I really fancied but once I got talking to him, I realised he was possibly the most loathsome creature I'd met in a long, long time. Ugh.
So true, Caroline. But I have to add the disclaimer that beefcakes (IMO) are not even good for that! lol...
I'm 5'10", 33" inside leg, a tad on the chunky side and take size UK7 shoes. I always go for the largest size (usually XL) and these fit perfectly. There is another thread somewhere about stocking sizes, hang on, I'll see if I can find it.

Apart from the last time I went to my hairdresser, I always cut my own fringe. If you're going to do it yourself, do make sure you have very good scissors (pref. proper hair cutting ones) and don't do it when it is wet unless you want to end up with it shorter than you'd like!
Jen, I don't curl mine before snooding it but I do use a sleepnet (about 60p from the chemist) under the snood to keep everything in place. However, unlike me, you might want to make sure your fringe is straight before capuring an image!
BTW, Viviene...
Thank you for the compliment. :D
I have absolutely no idea about prices in the States but here in the UK, staples are not expensive, it's the processed foods that are. Fruit and veg are much, much cheaper than junk food. I make absolutely no apology for my views on feeding children rubbish. Over here there is no excuse for it...
I see your point and I agree with you but until there is a better solution... Having said that, having a huge amount of tax on tobacco products and alcohol hasn't deterred smokers and drinkers. [huh]
Mostly to unwind, I find Lara does the trick! Videogaming may not be GE but I'm not so retro/vintage that I don't want to avail myself of modern technology at my disposal.
Sometimes I'll do the girl thing and have a long soak in a luxurious bubble bath, with a good book and a scented candle...
