Very similar to the tags in my lid (the second one). Mine does not have a letter on it etc. Would love to pin this down to a time frame as all of the other 50s hats I have seen posted have manufacture tags that are different.

I am also interested in seeing the tag JD asked for. I have a Borsalino that looks very similar with the same liner and sweat and a manufacturer tag that I have not seen in other postings in the Brotherhood thread. I am thinking it may be from the same time frame.

Agreed 100%, my parents and the Army taught me that and at my current job I have had two promotions in three years (length of time between the last two promotions was 9 months) ending up in management because I walk in to work every day with the attitude that no job in the building is beneath...
I picked up my first Borsalino last weekend for $40.00. It caught my eye as it has the same color ribbon as my Stetson Medalist Eagle. Hat is black, 5 1/2" open crown with a 2 1/2" brim with what appears to be a cav edge, ribbon is 2" in a nice olive.

I love it! It has an all around different feel when wearing it compared to my stetson. Almost like it better. As I mentioned I have no idea about age etc, but it just feels old: good quality comfort etc.

Tomasso - thanks sooo much! I wore this suit (exactly as you see it) to my wife's grandfathers funeral (I did add a heavy grey overcoat). I got many compliments from the older generation about the fedora, suit etc etc.
Grey checked 100% wool suit with thin light blue lines making largeish squares. Spit shined cap toe oxfords, vintage brown, green, blue silk tie and the Stetson. Suit is 50-60s. Sorry about the photo quality, I will get more in better lighting this weekend.
The sleeves are a tad bit too...
