For your consideration are some very nice Cole-Haan Italian leather cap toe oxfords. As you can see by the photos, these shoes have had little wear and are in great condition. These shoes hold a great spit shine!
Asking $50.00 shipped in CONUS - Or will trade for a grey fedora (7 1/8 or 7 1/4...
I had to go in to Montpelier (Vermont) last night at 11p to pick up my son from his first day of work. Because I was unable to find parking close to where I was to pick him up I parked way down the street and walked up to meet him. It was rather chilly and rainy and I was wearing what I had...
Oddly enough I only wear my CWU 45-P flight jacket if I am out in the woods in cooler weather. That pocket becomes home for a MS-2000M strobe light and signal mirror (tight fit but it does work) - VS-17 panel (cut down) goes in one of my side pockets and assorted other goodies in the other one.
My screen name is the name of a B-24 piloted by a close friend whom has passed on. I typically go by HeyMoe or JohnnyDollar on most forums - even signed up here with JohnnyDollar until I remembered I had a HeyMoe account (yeah, I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack).
Anyway, my name is...
Gray six-on-one wool double breasted suit, early1950's tie, Knox Premier, spit-shined brown oxfords. Getting ready to go out with the wife for our anniversary.
Of course I did not do any of the things in my post - he occasionally reads the posts here and I know that he will find that post hallarious. I am, however, requiring him to buy all the beer for next weekend :)
So what I did was use water and a baby's tooth brush (very soft bristles) to work the corn starch out. No more spots of grease or corn starch!!
Thanks everyone for the tips.
I'll have to call dipshit and let him know I got the spots out. Now feel kinda bad about knifing his tires...
In a panic I did some naptha spot treatment. It appears to have gotten the stuff out of the crown, but not the overwelt brim. When I get home from work tomorrow, I will do a more extensive cleaning.
I was at a friends house tonight and the knucklehead picked up my vintage Knox. Of course he had been eating chicken and didn't clean his hands and I now have some grease stains on the brim and at the pinch of my lid.
Any idea how I can get this out?
I feel homicide coming on.....
