Here's a new brooch I won on Ebay. It's from the Chicago World's Fair in 1934. All the men in my reenacting group wear the tie bars from the fair, so I thought I needed something too.
Also, in the documentary, they showed quite a bit about this house. Apparently he was supposed to be working on it for awhile. Then the client called and said he was nearby, and would be there in a couple hours. And he basically drew this house in I think they said an hour and a half!
A couple of days ago we watched the Ken Burns documentary on Frank Lloyd Wright. It was quite interesting, as I really didn't know much about him.
They are having the festival again this year on September 19. I'll try to get over and take some more pictures of the Park Inn. I believe it will...
