    Lee, You might be able to get a key made? I worked at a hardware store years ago and people would bring me locks that they'd lost their key to, and we were able to make a new key based on the grooves on the inside of the lock. Its worth checking out at least. Gary

    Cool! :) I have a membership on Newspaperarchive.com (for my book research purposes), and sometimes I'll just go in a read the old papers! They have papers that date all the way back to the beginning of the 19th Century on there.

    For me, it's that "basement" smell. I think it's because my grandfather used to have all of his tools in the basement, and many of his tools were from the 40s.
