Okay.. one thing up front.
A2's do not have elastic cuffs. They have a wool jersey knit. It has some spring to the knit but it has no elastic in it.
I haven't seen a wested jacket up close so I can't compair. But you can not expect a jacket made of lamb to be stand up to the...
I bought this one thinking it would fit and in the store it looked like it did, then I had time to really try it on and it's just too big. It says it's a 44 X-Long, but it's just too big. It's more like a 46 or 48!
The Tux measures approx...
24 across under arms
25.5 top of shoulder to...
Well, I picked up the Belted because you just don't see them that much, The Tux I thought would fit me as it's a 44 X-Long, but it's just too big. It's more like a 46 or 48!

I had a good thrifting day today. I just picked up a jacket very similar to the one above. Belted back, patch/style pockets with flaps and pleats, action back. Unfortunatly it's too small for me so tomorrow I'll take some pics and offer it in the classifieds section.
I also got a sweet...
Oh, on a fun side note... Anyone ever live in a remodeled chicken coop?
I did for about 2 years. It was part of an old fox farm back in the 30's. The chickens were the food for the foxes. It was never made for plumbing, so all the pipes were above the ground. The toilet was really the...
I always lived in old houses. Mostly turn of the century ie: 1900.
Current house is new for me.. 1937.
Old houses are nice, but not if you want to keep warm.

Falco,
Not a 45 but maybe a 22. I don't think goats can get a thick skinned as a Horse, esp. a draft horse.
Goat is a great skin I agree, but horse is the next step up.
Of course if you really want the toughest, most durable hide, then go Kangaroo.
Congrats on the Jacket. I do love the highwayman jacket. Post some pics when it comes in. Which version did you get? Anniversary?, Alpaca?, inside pocket?
I did everything to that jacket, ... wore it, put it in the dryer, slept in it, massaged it watching tv. It's one he** of a jacket.
But yes, I don't have it anymore. It's over on the back of some French guy right now. sorry to say, I needed the money at the time.
That being said, it...
The Highwayman was my first jacket from Aero. I got it in brown heavy front quarter horse with alpaca lining.
I loved this jacket, but....

When I first got it I could not put my arms down, it's that heavy, I felt like the kid from Christmas...
Good to hear simmo...
When I got my first Aero, I got the rust cuffs because Ken talked me into it. I'm glad he did.
Post a pic when it comes in. There's nothing like getting that box from Aero. And you unzip it for the first time! And the smell...
hmmmm, Maybe I should order...
So you say you're "Dressed to the Nines"
