Honey Doll posted an Etsy seller in the Hat Anguish thread awhile back. She does custom work and uses vintage hat blocks. Her work is beautiful and I came very close to buying a cloche I did not need ;)
Kimberly, the pattern on that dress is a dream!
And as for the Docs, good buy! I have a pair of navy blue mary jane Doc Martens that I bought in the 90's and they look almost as good as they day I got them. DMs seem to last forever!
Oh, yikes. I'm going to pretend I didn't see those.
BUT, I like the blue ;) Since they have red and white in them you could still wear them with plenty of things and accessorize accordingly.
Okay, back to pretending those don't exist.
Well, I'm super late to this thread but I had to add my laundry hate :rage:
I don't have the words to describe the dislike I have for the smell of laundry detergent. Blech.

JBD, the the cream gown and jacket is a stunner.
This is a weird one...
The Smoky Eye!
I live under the adage that eyeliner makes everything better ;) , so even when I have vintage makeup on, I still do the upper lid. I can only do it when I'm in something modern, but it makes me feel good.
Once a makeup artist taught me how to do...
RedHot, the red, white and blue transfers are really neat! Let us know what you make with them.
I got this today... I hope it's as nice as it looks:
Lost out on another one. The Willardy, Rialto, and Gilli ones are going for cringe-tastic prices
Ha! I can't believe I didn't notice the clip shadow! That actually makes me laugh... you gotta clip a dress to make it fit, but it's conveniently clipped right behind the knees
The dress I bought from her that had too-large measurements was supposed to be a wiggle dress. Apart...
