Fit advice please - Akubra Campdraft Deluxe
I ordered my usual size, a 63, but this hat is quite large. A complete circle of window foam makes it fit about right, although it still may be a shade large. It does make the sweatband all wavy, of course.
Many say the Akubra regular felt will...
The old Brownings and Colts (or any "name" pistol like that) will be fine with any modern ammo. They are well made pistols, and the old ones are just as strong as they need to be. Modern ammo makers won't make ammo that will blow up an old gun - they don't want to be sued over that. Those tiny...
Does anyone know who makes the campaign hats worn by Department of the Interior rangers? I am curious about both the felt and the straw versions. Thanks.
That is a moderate gray and should "match" lots of different colors. It seems to be a warmer/browner gray, as opposed to a cooler/bluer gray, but it looks just dandy with that gray-blue shirt, for example. I would think there aren't too many colors that gray wouldn't coordinate with pretty well...

Shudde Bros. (Shudde's) has been around since 1907, so that is consistent.
There still is a Shudde Bros. but the old downtown location was closed a few years ago. I don't know what the new place is like. The old place was very cool, but the inventory was mostly cowboy hats, and some lesser hats...
How long to get a hat from Hats Direct
They have shipped it already - a Campdraft. The estimates are from 5 to 14 days, and they warned U.S. Customs has been a little slow. How long does it actually take? Thanks.
