I like khaki in pants and skirts. I must say it is a rare khaki shirt I find appealing, on me.
Is this khaki exclusively or olive drab as well? Because I do adore olive drab.
I sure hope girls can play in this thread too.
From what I can tell, the local papers that are probably going to last the longest are the ones where the readers feel like they need it, like they aren't going to be able to just find it on CNN: the Philadelphia Gay News, Philadelphia Tribune, the Jewish Exponent, Al Dia, Metro Chinese Weekly...
Wanamaker's was the department store icon in Philadelphia; a "little" branch was near my house growing up and it was three stories (no fountains or anything like the one downtown though) and I've been told it was one of the oldest department stores in the country. Bought out now...
I hadn't thought of the little .410s at all, that could be very interesting. Especially in comparative rarity stacked up to the (still pretty sweet) Winchester Model 1897 shotgun I was pondering.
I guess I have a bit of the adventure = buffalo gun myself. lol
I don't know either, but I really, really want to set up some terrariums and maybe even find a Wardian case. Or make one, I guess, but if I knew where to buy a nice one...?
Aw, I love pulp-theme movies like Raiders and Rocketeer and The Shadow; maybe if Polly Perkins had better dialogue...?
It wasn't any Raiders, is all I'm gonna say.
Was Sherlock Holmes good? My guy wants to get the dvd of it.
I'd've made my parents send me to high school.
I would have gotten in shape sooner. I am smaller now than I was at 12. I was chubby my entire childhood and most of my teenage years and it's annoying to look back on, but I thought it was just how I was.
I would have gone into the military...
Last movie I watched was the remade 3:10 to Yuma, with Christian Bale, and it was quite good. Crowe made a good villian.
Second to last movie I watched, though, was Sky Captain And the World of Tomorrow and oh my goodness it was so terrible.
Breakfast is, ideally, leftover spaghetti.
But yeah, precious-moments "in touch with the REAL America because I occasionally buy things at antique stores and also free-trade coffee" makes my eyes roll so far back in my head I can see my own brain.
The only thing that bugs me more is...
Lizzie, I hear you on 98% of this completely but I am not getting with you on the simple = rural thing. Big city doesn't mean pretentious inherently and automatically anymore than Maine means rich New Yorkers summering. Plenty of subway-riding just-folks around and about in the urban jungle...
You're very fair. I think a sort of a more rose-brown lip (more rose than brown!) and a softer eye shadow with more lashes but a more natural brow might look better on you. You have such a wonderful delicate complexion.
Also I think your brows are a bit thin for Marilyn, but don't go dark...
I don't have it w/ cheese but I don't generally buy it from Subway either, I only really trust subway with cold hoagies and then only when I can't find a mom and pop place which is pretty rarely.
