I recently purchased a late 1940's/1950's navy blue dress. I'd put photos up but don't have a digital camera at the moment. Looking forward to wearing it except might have to get the collar relined. I guess it devalues the dress, but it will look a bit fresher having it fixed up. Not sure yet...
Bummer..read this thread too late...:( oh well. I think you can still get the Sears book but yeah the vintage hair book is so hard to get. I remember when it came out, but I didn't get round to buying it. It was quite pricey for a black & white book, but compared to what i'd have to pay for it...
I'm hopefully going to see this movie tomorrow, so I don't want to read too many comments. Go in there fresh. The trailers make it look alright. I hope we get a good seats
I love Borat!:eusa_clap I also love Ali-G and Br?ºno.
I loved the part where Borat and his mate were fighting over the Baywatch-Pam Anderson book. I was in tears.lol

Jagshemash!
I haven't had the opportunity to see Reefer Madness yet. It's hard to find. It always gets stolen at the video stores! ha! ha!
I've seen "The Delinquents" -1957- the scene where he's suppose to be drunk is hilarious.

Will try and get that Reefer...
I'd like to see that actually. I've always liked that movie. The original has a strange ending, come to think of it, both versions are weird. I think there's a premiere of it here in Australia with Rutger Hauer.
I love David Lynch films.
My favourite is Blue Velvet/Fire Walk with Me. I like the mystery and style, the music, the noir element. You have to watch them more than once, because you pick up parts you might have missed the first time.:)
we used to have a rat that was always dragging stuff under the couch, anything was a potential target even a record cover. He'd also know when I was cooking and hang on my foot waiting for treats to drop to the ground. Poor little thing is in rat heaven now. :(
I love reading about all the different pets on the lounge.
Our rattie died not long ago. Poor little thing. I'm sure he's collecting and destroying things up there in rat heaven. :(
OH MY GOD! I've bought a 2 things from that Grindlesvintage. I even checked her in my ebay favourites not long ago and I noticed there wasn't anything listed. I thought that was really odd. I didn't think much of it. Oh this is so tragic. News you don't want to hear. I used to see their family...
