I have been in awe of Spencerian Script since I was a young girl. My daily penmanship is atrocious; it always has been. I try, really I do, but even if it starts off well, by the end of whatever I'm writing it has deteriorated into a hot mess...[huh] Hence, at work at least, I try as often as...
So, I drifted over to Target on my break, and drifted out with these: (Pics are from the net; my camera is being spazzy)
I love buying white/light-colored dresses- makes me feel like Spring has arrived.
Aha! Hot Topic is the root of all Evil!!! They contributed greatly to the downfall of genuine Goth by making it so easy- giving us "Mall Goths". Now they're doing the same to Vintage? I haven't been in one in years, so I hadn't noticed this particular trend there... Grr.:rage:
Very interesting. For some reason, the first one I'm going to watch is Rudy Vallee. Don't know why; maybe because he seems kind of unreal to me, almost like a character in a movie. Thanks for the link!:D
I have never seen or heard this before. It leaves a pretty extreme curl in those photos, but the article also talks about "perm solutions", so that's probably why. I would say that in theory, it should work just as well as anything else, just keep in mind that it's going to create really tight...

Baby Face with Barbara Stanwyck. Both versions, one right after the other. It's amazing the meaning that can be beaten out of a film with the deletion of a few scenes. Censors are a dangerous lot...
Great movie, though.
Some comedian- can't remember which one at the moment- said that Parliament was like Congress with a two-drink minimum. I love to watch it just for the fact that it's so unlike watching Congress here. They seem to have a way better time...
Wow. I had neither seen nor heard of this show until I moved Upstate NY from Jersey. Then my son and I happened to catch it one night and thought it was the funniest thing. I wish it was still on around here, but I can't find it anymore...:(
I am a huge fan-girl when it comes to Neil; if he does a signing or an appearance anywhere within 150 miles of me, off I go. He's one of the best speakers I've ever seen(heard?), and listening to him read his own work is a great experience. Truly a gentleman with his fans, as well. Years ago at...
Then, on behalf of everyone who works in retail, I Thank You!!:eusa_clap
Counting up endless checks for trivial amounts is one of true annoyances of many a Cash Office.
